The Pawsitive Ripples Effect Project combines work with youth impacted by trauma, nature, and animals to build life skills for youth and improve stability for all participants.
We value diversity, equity, & inclusion!
Land Acknowledgment
The Pawsitive Ripples Effect Project honors that we reside on the traditional lands of the Indigenous Peoples of the Lower Columbia River. This land, and the ecosystems here, are sacred to the people, integral to their cultural identity, spirituality, and way of life. We respectfully seek out and integrate the views of the Indigenous Peoples of the Lower Columbia River as we navigate our impact on the land.
DEI Statement
We acknowledge the weight of generational trauma created by a society built on colonization, slavery and racism. We invite everyone to honor the land itself and the First Peoples. We believe no one should have to fight for access to opportunities for healing & growth, but this happens all too often with BIPOC and marginalized communities. We stand against these inequities by committing to center the voices, experiences, and knowledge of those communities who historically and presently continue to be marginalized.
